I recommend this site to anyone who
is wanting to research their genealogy in the UK.  I  found this site to be one of the most helpful online resources for locating the  relatives of William Richard Marsters whom I had been researching for several years. The site enabled me to access UK census records since 1840, and BMD records that were unavailable elsewhere. Site owners are continually adding to their records from  the various counties.

This is my grandfather Tearaia (b.1898) who was the son of William Marsters II.

This photograph was taken in the early 1900s - possibly around 1920. Ann Elizabeth is in the striped blouse. To the right is her daughter Harriet Emma (b.1879, Steven's great-grandmother). Behind her is Harriet's daughter Winifred. The male in the photo could be Ann Elizabeth's son Frank (b 1894) who was at her bedside when she died in 1924.

This photograph is of Ann Elizabeth Joel and her grandmother Ann Masters.

Ann Elizabeth Joel (b1853 d1924) is the daughter of Richard Masters (aka William Marsters of Palmerston Island)

Ann Masters is Richard's mother originally Ann Armston from Twyford, in north-eastern Leicestershire.

This photograph would have been taken around about 1872-1873. Ann Elizabeth is wearing a wedding ring so it was just after her wedding on 6 December 1872.

Her grandmother Ann died in on 22nd May, 1873.

Steven is the great-grandson of  Harriet who was the third (born 1879) of the eleven children of Ann Elizabeth and John Granger.
